The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, in his important conclusion on the first agenda item of the plenary meeting, set forth the development strategy and policies for achieving the sustained growth of agricultural production under the uplifted banner of the rural revolution and further promoting the overall development of Korean-style socialist construction, the editorial says, and goes on:

It is the unshakable faith and will of the WPK to definitely put the agricultural production on a new track of development and turn the country into the one with abundant grain by further strengthening the political, ideological, material and technical foundations of the countryside.

Our Party is working hard to protect and hold up the people with sincerity and realize their happiness and interests, not for any principle or authority.

All the Party organizations should fulfill their duty in implementing the programme for the rural revolution in the new era, deeply mindful that the success in agricultural production and development and the overall prosperity of the country this year depend on the role of the political staff in regions, sectors and units.

The editorial calls upon all the Party organizations to inspiringly arouse the whole Party, the whole country and all the people to the struggle for attaining the grain production goal for this year and the long-term objectives for agricultural development, well aware of their important mission.
