Many Explosives Found at Housing Construction Site of DPRK
Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- More than 110 bombs, shells, mines, grenades and other U.S.-made explosives have been discovered in the Hwasong area of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, ever since the start of the housing construction there.

Explosive removers of the Pyongyang City Public Security Bureau detected and disposed of those blind explosives.

During the last Korean War, the U.S. imperialist aggressors indiscriminately bombed and shelled the northern half of Korea on a large scale, crying out for wiping out its cities and towns completely from the map. In particular, they dropped in the city of Pyongyang more than 428,000 rounds of bombs on 1,400 installments. As a result, huge numbers of unexploded bombs were buried in different parts of the country.

Such explosives testifying to genocide by the U.S. imperialists were found one after another in many construction sites of Pyongyang over the past 10-odd years.

The explosives, found at the housing construction site in the Hwasong area, were rusty but at risk of going off at any time.

Witnessing the disposal of explosives, the army and civilian builders felt surging hatred toward the U.S. imperialists. They are hardening their will to proudly build a socialist paradise for the people in the Hwasong area by their own efforts.
