Officials of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry went to power plants across the country, where they have conducted innovative work to put the production of electricity on a high and steady basis. As a result, much electricity is now produced as compared with the same period of last year.

Officials, workers and technicians in the field of power transmission and distribution made a detailed field survey of the distribution lines in provinces, cities and counties and, on this basis, they are taking responsible measures to reduce the loss of electricity in transmission while keeping the lines in the defective sections in good condition.

Meanwhile, a step has been taken to supply electricity on a regular basis to the factories and enterprises closely related to the agricultural sector including farm machine producers.

The work to supply necessary electricity to the irrigation facilities in time is also going on.
