The Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) launched organizational and political work to making all the members understand the intention of the Party Central Committee and turn out as one in the work for helping the rural communities.

Trade union officials in Sukchon County of South Phyongan Province have prepared various kinds of farming materials with sincerity.

The Pyongyang City Committee of the GFTUK organized a socialist emulation to actively help the countryside and took a step to transport the prepared manure.

Trade union members in Sinuiju City of North Phyongan Province and Hamhung City of South Hamgyong Province visited relevant farms with large amounts of farming materials.

Those of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and the Kwail County Garment Factory, too, took an active part in the assistance to the agricultural sector.
