Efforts Concentrated on Production of Fertilizer

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex in the DPRK is concentrating all its efforts on the production, true to the intention of the Party Central Committee which set the grain production goal as the first target of 12 major goals for the national economic development.

Its officials have conducted in an innovative way the organizational and political work to arouse the working masses' high sense of responsibility and strengthen the existing production foundations and the inter-process relationship.

The raw materials workshop, the gas generator workshop and other workshops of the complex have provided a guarantee for increased production by raising the operation rate of equipment, actively introducing the efficient working methods and stepping up the technical improvement of processes.

Workers of the synthesis shop have produced large amounts of ammonia every day by carrying out the inspection of compressors and towers in a responsible manner and prospectively securing spare parts.
