Patriotic Movement Brisk among Women's Union Organizations

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Women's union organizations in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK are vigorously conducting a do-good-thing movement, true to the idea of the Workers' Party of Korea on activating the socialist patriotic movement, the revolutionary mass movement.

City and county women's union organizations sent more than 100,000 tons of manure and many small farm implements to farms.

They gave various kinds of aid materials to the army on significant occasions such as the Day of Army Founding and encouraged the service personnel to carry out their duties more properly.

Those organizations also offered red flags, labor protection materials, tools and supplies to the youth shock brigade members going to construction sites in Pyongyang and encouraged them to perform feats.

Housewives, too, have shown warm care for the living of war veterans and disabled soldiers.

Lots of good deeds are seen one after another among women's union members, who are striving to contribute to prosperity of the country, giving priority to the state affairs before their family affairs.
