The province called a consultative meeting of officials in the forestry sector and stressed the need to pay attention to creating mixed forests in a far-sighted and rational way and creating many forests for firewood. And it discussed the issues of boosting sapling production by strengthening the material and technical foundation of tree nurseries in the region.

The province channeled efforts into generalizing good experience gained in afforestation and introducing growth promoters into the production of saplings.

As a result, more saplings of good species were produced than before.

The province is now taking substantial measures to expand the area of afforestation.
