Officials of the Salt Industry Bureau concentrate efforts on remodeling the Onchon Tile Factory and a salt-producing machine repair factory.

The remodeling and modernization of the Onchon Tile Factory has been turned into the work of the bureau and more than 10 buildings are being built as scheduled.

The work for installing equipment, including a drying furnace, kiln and press, is going on as planned thanks to the high enthusiasm of officials.

The workers of the salt-producing machine repair factory have made strenuous efforts under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.

The factory finished repairing equipment and prepared materials so as to produce and supply water pumps necessary for salt production.
