Embankment Project Brisk in North Phyongan Province

Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- Officials and builders of the North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise in the DPRK have turned out in the implementation of tasks set forth at the 7th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee. They are pushing ahead with the embankment project in Woldo and Honggondo tidelands.

Officials and builders of various tideland reclamation branch stations under the enterprise secured a huge amount of rubble and earth through the introduction of an efficient blasting method to make a breakthrough for speeding up the embankment project.

They removed 10,000 cubic meters of earth in a short span of time and have carried out their daily plan without fail.

The mechanized branch companies of the enterprise have regularly repaired equipment to raise the operation rate of vehicles.
