The city agricultural management committee worked out a detailed land improvement plan for high yield on the basis of soil analysis data on all potato fields and launched the meticulous organizational and political work, while intensifying the guidance over farming techniques and the review so as to step up the production of organic fertilizer and land improvement in a three-dimensional way.

The land improvement project has been carried out on a full scale at farms amid the growing enthusiasm of emulation.

The city carried tens of thousands of tons of improvements and a large amount of potassium to all its potato fields, thus providing another guarantee for increasing the per-hectare yield.

Its citizens is now making preparations for potato farming while boosting the production of self-sufficing manure, including huminite and organic compound fertilizer.
