Efforts Paid to Production of Finishing Building Materials

Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK strives to meet the demand for finishing building materials for rural housing construction by its own efforts under the Party's grand plan for rural construction.

The province has concentrated its efforts on strengthening the material and technical foundations for the local production of finishing building materials and self-sufficiency.

Amid a brisk mass technological innovation movement for reinforcing production bases and diversifying the range, types and colors of building materials, successes were made in developing new products and improving their quality. The production of finishing building materials in the province increased 1.5 times as against the same period of last year.
