Production of Irrigation Pumps Promoted

| Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- True to the idea and spirit of the 7th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the workers of the Anju Pump Factory in the DPRK has stepped up the production of irrigation pumps to be sent to the agricultural sector. The factory ensured the normal operation of equipment through introduction of valuable innovations. As a result, it boosted the production of pumps 1.4 times as against the same period of last year. Its technical personnel laid a scientific and technological foundation for mass-producing highly efficient pumps. |
