Present there were Yun Chang Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, and children, nurses, teachers, doctors and parents of the centre.

The participants laid a floral basket before the art work depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il among children, and paid high tribute to them.

At the ceremony, Song Hyang Chun, director of the centre, made an address to be followed by speeches.

Speakers noted that many successes have been made in the rehabilitation, upbringing and education of children with disabilities under the benevolence of the motherly Party taking warm care of all the children across the country.

They stressed that the children with disabilities will grow up brightly and courageously, bringing their hope and talents into full bloom in the future, too, under the benefits of the best socialist system.

Then the participants went round various parts of the centre.
