Land Realignment Project in Full Swing in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The Land Realignment Shock Brigade in the DPRK launched a forceful drive for land realignment this year, true to the resolutions of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The North Hwanghae provincial unit under the Land Realignment Shock Brigade buckled down to the earlier completion of the spring plan of over 1,000 hectares of land. It has so far rearranged hundreds of hectares of land into standardized fields.

The South Hwanghae provincial unit set a plan twice as much as last year and ensured full capacity operation of machines, thereby expanding standardized fields.

Successes are also reported from North Phyongan, South Hamgyong and other provincial units.
