Socialist Emulation for Early-crop Farming

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- Organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at all levels in the DPRK are raising a strong wind of emulation in the immediate farm work to increase the yield of early-ripening crops, true to the resolutions of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The Central Committee of the UAWK organized the socialist emulation among the UAWK organizations in the provinces, cities and counties to manure and cultivate the early-ripening crops properly and launched the political work to make collective innovations.

UAWK organizations in Mangyongdae District and Sadong District of Pyongyang have encouraged the agricultural workers to provide the crops with enough conditions for their growth by effectively applying nutritive liquid and manure and cultivate them in a proper way even under unfavourable weather conditions.

Officials and members of the UAWK in South Hwanghae Province are timely manuring wheat and barley fields in a qualitative way.

The same is true of UAWK organizations in South Phyongan Province, South Hamgyong Province, North Hwanghae Province and Nampho City.
