Base for Production of Powder Lactic Acid Bacteria Proves Effective in DPRK
|Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- A modern powder lactic acid bacteria production base for yoghurt, built at the Fermentation Research Institute of the Food and Consumer Goods Institute under the Ministry of Regional Industry of the DPRK, has proven effective in practice.
Officials and scientists of the institute solved sci-tech problems arising in putting the production of powder lactic acid bacteria on a normal basis.
This year, the institute established a scientific preservation pure culture system and conducted a deep research into producing quality products. In the course, it sent powder lactic acid bacteria, capable of producing tens of thousands of tons of yoghurt, to many cities and counties across the country.
Officials and scientists of the institute are now conducting scientific research activities to produce better powder lactic acid bacteria.
