A meeting of trade union members including workers took place before the yard of the Sinchon Museum Thursday to pledge to take revenge against the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors.

Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, officials concerned and officials of trade union organizations, workers and other trade union members.

A reporter and speakers strongly denounced in the name of all the workers and trade union members the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group of traitors keen on powder-reeking war exercises against the DPRK in crude violation of its sovereignty, security and interests.

Should the aggressors ignite a new war on this land, all the workers and trade union members will form workers' regiments and workers' divisions and join the People's Army to mercilessly destroy the enemies in the grand war for national reunification and surely win a victory in the decisive battles against the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces, they stressed.

They voiced their pledge to glorify the brilliant tradition of foiling the decades-old anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. imperialists and other hostile forces with proud achievements in economic construction by holding a rifle in one hand and a hammer of self-sustenance and self-reliance in the other, and thus certainly attain the 12 important heights for the development of national economy through increased production drive.

Then the participants in the meeting marched, holding the flags of the DPRK and chanting slogans "Blood in kind!" and "Let's get fully ready for all-people sacred war" in resentment against the new war provocation moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces.
