During the week, documentaries and revolutionary films showing the great revolutionary career and undying feats of the President and other feature films will be screened at movie houses and halls of culture across the country.

Also screened will be documentary and feature films showing the true picture of Korean-style socialism that has steadily developed under the leadership of the peerlessly great men, and the ideological and moral traits of the Korean people.

Its opening ceremony took place at the Pyongyang International Cinema House on April 10.

Attending it were Jo Kyong Jun, vice department director of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Ri Myong Chol, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, officials, creators and actors in the film sector and Pyongyang citizens.

Kim Jong Ho, deputy director-general of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry, gave an opening address.

After the ceremony, its participants watched a documentary "Our Leader Praised by All People".

That day the week of film show opened in each province.
