Big Blasting Conducted for Tideland Reclamation

| Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- A blasting of 200,000 cubic meters of earth was successfully carried out in Sokhwa Tideland of the DPRK on April 10. The tideland is being reclaimed with the might of the great army-people unity for the development of the country's agriculture, true to resolutions made at the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. The successful blasting helped secure rubble stones and earth of hundreds of thousands of cubic meters, making a breakthrough in accelerating the first-stage project for damming up Sokhwa Tideland. |
