The mother of the first triplets born this year is Kim Kum Sil living in Phungnae-ri, Onsong County, North Hamgyong Province and their father Jon Sok Chol is a farmer of the Phungnae Farm.

As soon as she was diagnosed as a triplet pregnant woman, she was sent to the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and received medical assistance while being regularly provided with various kinds of nutritious foods and tonics.

Thanks to the efforts of doctors and nurses of the hospital, she was safely delivered of boy-triplets.

Rim Su Gyong, a woman living in Chongsu Workers' District, Sakju County, North Phyongan Province and her husband Jang Jong Chol, a worker of a chemical factory, came to be a parent of triplets (two sons and one daughter) in December last year.

The healthy babies and their parents, presented with gold rings and silver-decorated knives as gifts, left the hospital amid warm send-off by medical workers and nurses.
