Many citizens have shown their high zeal to create good literary works on the noble personalities of the peerlessly great men who dedicated themselves to the strengthening of the DPRK, and on the great changes made in every part of the country under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the struggle and life of people out in a drive to attain 12 major goals for the national economic development.

Working people, youth and students, soldiers and other people from all walks of life in the country can contribute their literary works of diverse styles, including novel, poem and dramatic literature, to the contest which is to be held from March to July.
