A graduate of Wonsan University of Education volunteered to work at the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

Dozens of graduates from universities of education and teachers training colleges in Wonsan and Hamhung cities vowed to work at schools in the forefront areas, islet villages and mountainous and rural areas.

Congratulatory speeches and oath-taking speeches were made at the meetings attended by Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Kim Myong Chol, secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, youth and students.

Officials, youth and students saw off the volunteers.
