For the past 50 years since its founding on April 14, Juche 62 (1973), the Archives has documented quality photos recording the history of revolutionary activities of the peerlessly great persons, thus making distinguished contributions to conveying to posterity their noble revolutionary career and undying exploits and to steadfastly carrying forward the tradition of loyalty, the bloodline of the Korean revolution.

A meeting for the occasion took place on Thursday.

Present there were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, journalists, editors and employees of the unit.

Ri Il Hwan read out a congratulatory message from the WPK Central Committee to the journalists, editors and employees of the Archives.

The WPK Central Committee in the message highly appreciated the loyal journalists, editors and officials of the unit who made great contributions to enriching the treasury of the revolution of immoral value, preserving the lifeline of the Party and the cause of socialism and handing over the baton of the revolution in each period.
