Presented to the festival were foods and sci-tech achievements made by cooks in the city.

Attending the closing ceremony on April 13 were Ri Song Hak, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kwak Jong Jun, minister of Commerce and also chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Association of Cooks, Ri Yong Min, director of the Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service, officials concerned, cooks, waiters and waitresses, housewives in the central districts of Pyongyang and officials and technicians of foodstuff factories.

Similar events took place at famous restaurants in each province.
