Born into a poor peasant family, Song had to experience the grief of statelessness before Korea's liberation.

She could lead a worthwhile and happy life under benefits of the genuine people's country and government after President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea. She had been faithful to her duty, taking the lead in assisting the front during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.

Even after becoming a pensioner, she had continued to do work conducive to the country.

She tells her children to firmly defend the grateful socialist system and do more work for the prosperity of the country.
