A ceremony for beginning the first-term camping took place at the Songdowon International Children's Camp on April 15.

Attending the ceremony were Chae Il Ryong, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, Kim Myong Chol, secretary of the provincial Party committee, Kim Kyong Jun, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league, the staff of the camp and campers.

The participants in the ceremony placed a floral basket before the statues of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the camp and paid tribute to them.

First-term camping also started at the Mangyongdae and Yonphungho and other children's camps.
