This year alone, the revolutionary battle sites were visited by officials and working people of many units, youth and students and service personnel across the country, including Pyongyang City and South Phyongan, North and South Hwanghae and Kangwon provinces.

The visitors to the Sinhung Area Revolutionary Battle Site looked round the meeting place on Mt Sambat, where President Kim Il Sung made a historic speech "For a Fresh Upsurge in the Revolutionary Struggle in the Homeland" before political workers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) and chiefs of underground revolutionary organizations in September Juche 26 (1937), and the secret camp of the headquarters, recollecting with deep emotion the exploits he performed for national liberation.

They also visited the Okryonsan Secret Camp in the Pujonryong Secret Base and other revolutionary sites, where they grasped the noble spirit of fighters who upheld the President in high esteem as the center of unity and leadership before the trees bearing slogans.

Under the unfurled red flag, they toured the Majon Revolutionary Battle Site associated with the activities conducted by small units of the KPRA in the Hungnam area, true to the line of all-people resistance advanced by the President.

Going round the site of barracks and other historic relics, they grasped once again the fighting spirit of the forerunners who had waged a bloody anti-Japanese war.

During the study tour, there were a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus, a meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and other events.
