People in DPRK Devote Their Sincerity to Sacred Place

Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- Ardent loyalty of the Korean people to hold President Kim Il Sung in high esteem for all ages is further witnessed in the country. This year alone, people from all over the country donated more than 50,000 cleaning materials in 20-odd kinds to the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site and planted over 10,000 trees and flower shrubs of 15 species, thus adding to the beauty of its scenery. Officials of the Ministry of External Economic Relations and the Ponghwa Chemical Factory have provided tree saplings of rare species for the last 10-odd years to contribute to beautifying Mangyongdae, the holy land. This year alone, they sent hundreds of trees to the site on the occasion of the significant Day of the Sun. Officials of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and its members planted dozens of pine-nut trees and pine trees and handed over more than 2,500 trees of good species to the site. Many students across the country, too, sent white broad bellflowers, hundreds of saplings, lily bells, magnolia, roses, etc. to the revolutionary site Officials and employees of the Ministry of IT Industry released hundreds of gold carps in the pond of the revolutionary site. Researchers of physics and chemistry faculties of Kim Il Sung University sent washing equipment and other materials to the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site Management Office, thus contributing to the preservation of the relics. Officials of the State Academy of Sciences provided hundreds of kilograms of detergent for granite and officials of the Central Public Prosecutors Office and officials and members of the Tongdaewon District Committee and the Ryonhwa-dong No.2, Central District, Primary Committee of the Socialist Women's Union prepared with sincerity lots of fittings necessary for preserving and managing the revolutionary relics. |
