Meetings of Primary Information Workers of Party Held in Pyongyang and Provinces
|Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- Meetings of primary information workers of the Workers' Party of Korea took place in Pyongyang and provinces to arouse the masses to accomplishing the 12 major goals for national economic development.
Present there were senior officials of the provincial, city and county Party committees and other Party committees assuming the same function, officials in the field of information work, exemplary agitators, information workers each in charge of five families, announcers of loudspeaker vans and members of itinerant art agitation squads.
The meetings analyzed and reviewed the successes and experience, shortcomings and lessons gained in last year's work and discussed the issues of conducting effective information and motivation activities to arouse the masses to implementing the resolutions of the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee, including the vigorous ideological offensive for attaining the goal of grain production this year.
Reports were made at the meetings.
The reporters said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un clarified the outstanding idea and theories on mass political work and indicated the ways for further enhancing the responsibility and role of the primary information workers of the Party.
They called on the primary information workers of the Party to become the forerunners who work harder than others and ardent persons who devote themselves to the struggle for implementing the Party's resolutions and to lead the masses.
They called for fulfilling the honorable mission and duty before the Party and the times in the struggle to glorify this year as a year of great turn and change to be largely recorded in the course of the development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the meetings.
Workshops, film shows and other political and cultural events for the participants were held in provinces, cities and counties during the meetings.
