Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK), Choe Yong, secretary of the Nampho City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), officials of the GFTUK, workers and trade union members.

Pak In Chol read out a resolution.

The resolution said that President Kim Il Sung founded the KPRA in the forests of Antu 91 years ago and this was a grand national event that declared death-defying resistance against imperialism under the uplifted banner of national liberation and self-reliant independence and a historic event that opened a new era of Juche revolution relying on the powerful revolutionary armed forces.

It expressed the highest respect for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who developed the revolutionary armed forces into an invincible revolutionary army, and showed the faith and will of all the workers and members of the GFTUK to glorify this year marking the 75th anniversary of the DPRK and the 70th anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War as a year of proud victory to be specially recorded in the history of the country, true to the idea and leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The resolution stressed the will to absolutely trust and follow the General Secretary who is glorifying the new era of self-reliance and prosperity, the era of our state-first principle, and imbue the whole GFTUK with his revolutionary idea.

It said that all the workers and trade union members will regard the great action programme, set forth by the General Secretary at the 6th and 7th plenary meetings of the 8th WPK Central Committee, as their motto for life and struggle and work like the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who created the ever-victorious history and tradition and thus fully demonstrate the fighting spirit and stamina of the heroic working class and the vanguard unit in the on-going general advance to lay a decisive guarantee for the implementation of the five-year plan,.

After the meeting, the participants made a study tour of the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site.
