The camp, an epitome of the noble outlook of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on the younger generation, is equipped with everything necessary for helping children get a rich knowledge, noble moral traits and strong physique. It is associated with the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who spares nothing for the rising generations.

He visited the camp one day in April Juche 103 (2014).

That day he learned in detail about its reconstruction, touring the camp that has been completely refurbished for children of the DPRK and other countries to enjoy worthwhile camping days and form friendly ties.

Watching the theatre, mountaineering knowledge dissemination room, video games room, library, international friendship room and other places of the international friendship children's hall, he said they were really to his liking.

He said that the newly-built outdoor playground, gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, outdoor wading pool, outdoor archery ground and all other structures look like beautiful pictures and art works.

Saying with great satisfaction that all the buildings and facilities of the camp are smart building reflecting the Party's outlook on the rising generations, hotel and palace of children without an equal in the world, he stressed we should make our children's happy laughter and singing resound far and wide from here.

True to his noble intention, officials and teaching staff of the camp strive to contribute to bringing up schoolchildren to be many-sided talents.
