The performance began with a prelude "Song of Founding of Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army". The performers sang high praises of the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung who ushered in a new era of the Juche revolution relying on the powerful revolutionary armed forces and led the bloody anti-Japanese war to victory to bring about the dawn of national resurrection.

Put on the stage were female solo and pangchang "Oh, My Motherland of Songun" and other numbers praising the noble revolutionary career of Chairman Kim Jong Il who glorified the tradition of victory of the revolutionary armed forces rooted in Mt Paektu century after century.

A guitar ensemble and oungum solo "Joy of People" dealing with boundless glory and happiness of holding in high esteem the respected father Marshal Kim Jong Un were put on the stage, revving up the atmosphere.

Through male solo "We Serve the Country and People" and dance " Fly Our Tri-color National Flag of the Republic", the performers well represented the revolutionary enthusiasm and optimism of the passionate young people of our era who are fully displaying their wisdom and courage in national defence and socialist construction with boundless loyalty to the Party and the revolutionary cause.

Among the audience were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, youth league officials, students of revolutionary schools and young people in Pyongyang.
