Present at the seminar held on the theme of "On the great lifetime and immortal feats of His Excellency Kim Il Sung, the founder of the Juche idea" were personages from the national assembly, government, political parties and organizations of Uganda and members from organizations for the study of the Juche idea and solidarity and friendship with the Korean people.

Mayambala Lawrence, chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, made an address at the seminar.

He said that the enormous feats of the great President Kim Il Sung will be cherished in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the world progressives forever.

He stressed that the Korean people are now achieving brilliant successes in the struggle for comprehensive development of socialism under the wise leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un.

Speeches were made there.

The speakers said that President Kim Il Sung pioneered the Korean revolution under the uplifted banner of independence and led it to victory and that the DPRK is displaying its dignity as a powerful country to the whole world under the outstanding leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

They said that African countries should fight against neo-colonialism, defend their independence and unite together, as the Juche idea teaches, stressing that if they do not, they would be turned into a spot for competition among big powers and cannot escape their destiny as victims.

Saying that H.E. Kim Il Sung, H.E. Kim Jong Il and H.E. Kim Jong Un are the great leaders of the Korean people and peerless patriots and that the Korean people are indeed blessed people, the speakers called for studying and spreading the Juche idea dynamically so that the new generation will learn from the revolutionary idea, brilliant successes and experience of the DPRK and put them into practice.
