2023 Inter-Provincial Mass Sports Contest Underway in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- The 2023 Inter-Provincial Mass Sports Contest is going on at the Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street and the East Pyongyang Stadium in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

In the tug-of-war games which started on April 23, the players have presented wonderful performances.

In the 11-meter kick matches held divided into two groups, Kangwon provincial and Pyongyang city teams respectively came first and Kaesong city and North Phyongan provincial teams second to advance into the next stage.

In the Taekwon-Do event held at the Taekwon-Do Holy House on April 23 and 24, North Hwanghae Province took the first place and South Hamgyong Province and Pyongyang City second and third.
