Present there were the director general, the honorary director general and vice director generals of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea and personages of organizations for the study of the Juche idea and for solidarity and friendship with the Korean people in various countries of Latin America including Mexico, Venezuela, Peru and Costa Rica.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea who is also director general of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, made a keynote speech at the seminar.

Saying that Comrade Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, is a prodigious thinker-theoretician and outstanding philosopher who founded the Juche idea and opened up a new era of the cause of independence, the speaker noted:

It is thanks to the Juche idea that the popular masses could turn out in the struggle to put an end to the imperialist domination and realize independence as the masters of history and their own destinies.

The enthusiasm to study and follow the Juche idea is growing higher than ever on the international scale.

Comrade Kim Jong Un formulated the revolutionary ideas of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il into Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and made it shine in the history of human thought eternally.

Jose Francisco Aguilar Bulgarelli, honorary director general of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, and others made speeches at the seminar.

They noted that Kim Il Sung led the arduous anti-Japanese war to victory to liberate Korea and successfully realized the cause of building the Party, the state and the army and rendered active assistance to the oppressed peoples in the struggle for national liberation against colonialism and for building a new society.

They said that the Korean people are achieving eye-opening successes in bolstering up the DPRK's military capability for self-defence and building a powerful socialist country under the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
