Present at the closing ceremony were Pak Jong Gun, vice-premier of the DPRK Cabinet who is vice-chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, members of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, athletes, participants in the inter-provincial mass sports contest and Pyongyangites.

First, the final match of the contest was held.

Before the match, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, made a speech.

A march-past was held by each province together with a Taekwon-Do demonstration by Taekwon-Do players, instructors and young schoolchildren.

Then, followed by the finals of many events including relay race, hurdle race, tied-ankle race and 11-meter kick.

The Pyongyang City Team won the Kangwon provincial team at the finals of the tug-of-war.

And a judo demonstration was seen after the finals.

A closing ceremony of the 2023 Spring National Sports Festival was held.

Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Kim Il Guk made a closing address.

At the festival, the April 25 Players Team took the first place in the men's football and women's volleyball matches and was awarded a rotating trophy cup, and more than 20 players made new national records in various events such as athletics, weightlifting and shooting.

At the 2023 Inter-Provincial Mass Sports Contest, Pyongyang City took the first place in total standings and was awarded a rotating trophy cup while North Hwanghae Province and South Hamgyong Province the second and third places respectively.
