Graduates from Hwangju Middle School for Orphans volunteered to work at important factories and farms of the province.

Young people in Sariwon City, Suan County and Koksan County pledge to work at the livestock breeding base in the Sepho area and coal mines and cement factories.

Many young people of the province including those from Junghwa, Kumchon and Phyongsan counties volunteered to work at county construction brigades.

A meeting to congratulate the volunteers took place at the North Hwanghae Provincial Art Theatre on Friday.

Attending the meeting were Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and young people. Certificates were awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory speeches and speeches of determination were made.

Officials and youths of the province gave bouquets, encouraging the young people volunteering to work at difficult and labor consuming fields.
