Present there were the vice director general and secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the secretary general of the DR Congo Branch of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, the secretary general of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and other personages.

Andre Lohekele Kalonda, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, made a keynote report at the seminar.

He said that the African continent, which had been exploited and oppressed under the colonial rule of the West, could achieve independence and embark on the road of building a new society after receiving the Juche idea founded by the great President Kim Il Sung.

The Juche idea was comprehensively systematized and thoroughly applied to all realms of the Korean society by leader Kim Jong Il and is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un to bring about a brilliant fruition, and the development of Africa is now being made in the direction indicated by the Juche idea, he noted.

Speeches were made by various personages under such titles as "The great leader Kim Il Sung, the father of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea" and "President Kim Il Sung, symbol of friendship and solidarity".

Speakers said that the peoples of African countries should find their way out in the Juche idea and thoroughly apply it to reality by learning from the experience of the DPRK to build a free, civilized and united society.

A congratulatory message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
