Senior Party and government officials visited factories, enterprises and other places on Monday to significantly celebrate the holiday together with working people.

Officials of the Party and government including Kim Tok Hun and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the Party and power organs at all levels congratulated the working people at the Kumsong Tractor Factory, Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex, Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, Pyongyang Automation Appliances Factory, Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, Taean Heavy Machine Complex, Pyongyang Essential Foodstuff Factory and the construction site in the Hwasong area now in the second-stage construction of 10,000 flats.

Visiting the rooms for education in the revolutionary history, rooms dedicated to the history of the factories, etc., they called upon officials and working people to add eternal brilliance to the proud history and tradition of devotedly implementing the Party's policies which have been recorded in the annals of the revolution, holding fast to the idea of self-sustenance and self-reliance of the Party.

They met innovators who are performing feats in the drive for building a decisive guarantee for the fulfillment of the five-year plan, congratulated their labor achievements and encouraged them.

They watched sports and amusement games including football, volleyball and tug of war together with working people.

They appealed to all the working people to register bigger innovations in production and construction in different fields of the national economy, true to the intention of the WPK. A special mention was made of the construction site for 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area which will leave a new history of changes in Pyongyang.
