Present there were Jon Hyon Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), officials concerned and officials and employees of the complex.

Jon Hyon Chol conveyed a congratulatory message of the WPK Central Committee to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex.

The WPK Central Committee in its message said that thanks to the great devotion and efforts of President Kim Il Sung the complex has made a positive contribution to the development of the cement industry of the country and the socialist construction as a valuable national wealth and a reliable asset of national economy since its foundation.

The message noted that the officials and workers of the complex have hardened the spirit of self-reliance while making proud successes such as the construction of the long-distance belt conveyer under the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il who made sure revolutionary measures were taken to put the cement industry on a Juche basis and the production on a normal basis.

It said that our Party set forth it as an important policy task to raise the production capability of the complex and is boldly waging huge construction projects with trust put in the guts and stamina of the workers who accomplish whatever difficult production plans at the call of the Party.

The message highly appreciated and extended warm congratulation and greetings to all the workers, technicians and officials of the complex who reliably discharge their responsibilities at the important arsenal of the socialist construction.
