The editorial notes that the second generation of the revolution are grateful benefactors who defended each piece of land of the country at the cost of their blood and protected everything that is the most precious and crucial, invaluable revolutionary forerunners who created a new history of succession to the Korean revolution and developed the revolutionary spirit of Mt Paektu into an all-people ideological spirit, and genuine teachers who devoted themselves to the country and set a model of patriotic lifestyle for the rising generations all their lives.

Thanks to their heroic struggle, the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists was shattered and the legendary Chollima flew upon this land with a great heyday of the era of the Workers' Party being ushered in, the editorial states, and continues:

The great and superior qualities of the victorious wartime generation who brought about victory in the hard-fought war at the cost of their lives and glorified their era with blood and sweat are being carried forward through generations. The eye-opening reality of the DPRK in which world-startling changes and eventful successes are being made one after another under extreme conditions where others would have collapsed ten or hundred times, is a proud picture of the persevering struggle waged by the successors who continue to carry on the heroic epic of the ever-victorious nation, not by chance or by accumulation of time.

Today, the Korean people absolutely trust and follow only the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and devote themselves to the prosperity of the country just like the victorious wartime generation who turned out in the final death-defying battle for the leader and the country without hesitation and worked tens of times more harder, pooling in the share of their comrades-in-arms who laid down their lives.

The editorial calls for waging a dynamic struggle with courageous efforts for the victors in the great years, for our July 27 and for the eternal prosperity of the Republic.
