Recently alone, trade union officials and members and workers across the country went to farms with over 128,000 farm machine accessories and medium and small farm implements.

Officials of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) went to Jangyon County, South Hwanghae Province and instilled the importance of this year's farming in to the farmers while working with them. They also encouraged farmers to display a high sense of responsibility in farming.

Trade union organizations in North Phyongan Province sent thousands of small farm implements and farming materials to farms in the province and conducted agit-prop activities in the fields.

The Hyongjesan District Trade Union Committee of Pyongyang City sent motor-generators necessary for farming to a farm, and trade union members in North Hwanghae and Jagang provinces sent a lot of farm machine accessories and farming materials to farms.

Workers across the country are striving to produce more equipment and accessories needed for the agricultural sector.

The Kyongsong Electric Appliances Factory has produced 32,100-odd electric power equipment and accessories of 14 kinds including high-voltage distribution board and sent them to farms, and the Haeju Tractor Accessory Parts Factory has increased the production of farm machine parts.

Workers of many industrial establishments in the country are making contributions to implementing farming processes through a dynamic farm-machine repairing team campaign on fields.
