Construction of Army-People Power Stations in Kangwon Province Progresses Apace
Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The construction sites of the army-people power stations in Kangwon Province, the DPRK, are seething with enthusiasm to implement the resolutions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and builders of the province, the concrete covering project of waterway tunnel exceeded 90 percent and the overall project is progressing in a three-dimensional way.

The construction of the Kosong Army-People Power Station is going on in full swing.

The first brigade of waterway tunnel construction is increasing the speed of reinforcing bar working and form assembly with the advanced working method and keeping machines and equipment including mixer in full-capacity operation to make success in concrete covering project.

Advanced construction methods are introduced into the construction of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station and the dam building, stone laying and the building of generator room are going on as scheduled.

The project for installing pressure iron pipe conduit has reached a final stage thanks to the innovative efforts of the builders of the Sepho Army-People Power Station.

The builders of the Phyonggang Army-People Power Station are speeding up the arrangement of the area after completing the spillway dam project.
