AFC Grassroots Football Day Marked in DPRK

| Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- An event was held at the East Pyongyang Stadium in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on Monday to mark the AFC Grassroots Football Day. Present there were officials of the DPRK Football Association, physical training instructors, students and their parents of Pyongyang International Football School and Pyongyang City Football School. Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations who is chairman of the DPRK Football Association, made a speech. Afterwards, a demonstration of basic football techniques by students was seen. The participants had a pleasant time, playing a penalty kick and a football match divided into two teams, and taking photos. |
