Ko Kyong Chan-led Hero Workteam of the April 5 Pit at the Kumgol Mine under the Komdok Mining Complex has completed its yearly plan and over 10 workteams have carried out the first half-yearly plan, registering more successes.

The workers of the Tanchon Smeltery are making substantial progress in carrying out the plan for various indices.

In mid-April, many workteams fulfilled their economic plans following the example of the Excavator No.7 Workteam of the Kumsan Pit under the Ryongyang Mine, while workers of the Taehung Youth Hero Mine and the Paekbawi Mine are increasing production, helping and leading each other forward.

The Tanchon Magnesia Factory and the Songjin Fireproof Material Factory introduced new technical innovation proposals and inventions and improved the furnace operation method while the Tanchon Mining Machine Factory is directing efforts to the management of equipment and technical control to increase the output of products under contract.
