The construction of a new oxygen heat blast furnace is nearing completion at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex. The Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and the complex have paid primary attention to providing the equipment needed for the project in the shortest time, while solving knotty technical problems arising in completing it.

The Chollima Steel Complex is waging a dynamic drive to reinforce the continuous casting machine. Its officials have sped up the project by introducing construction equipment while strengthening cooperation with relevant units. They have also given a boost to the research of technicians and carried on operation and guidance with the main emphasis on introducing valuable innovative plans through a mass technological innovation movement.
