Project for Putting Production Processes on Juche Basis Promoted

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the production of Juche iron and the project for putting production processes on a Juche basis in the same spirit as was displayed to fulfill the plan for May.

The complex has carried out its daily and shift plans by giving precedence to the supply of equipment and materials while directing efforts to attaining the readjustment and reinforcement goal.

Workers and technicians of the oxygen heat blast furnace workshop introduced advanced working methods and operated equipment in a sci-tech way to increase the molten iron production per charge.

The complex is stepping up the trial operation of partial systems for new oxygen heat blast furnace, while concentrating its efforts on the settlement of technical problems to successfully finish the project for putting production processes on a Juche basis.
