The province manufactured many yogurt production facilities and spray-dried milk powder production equipment and secured thousands of cows and goats.

The Hamhung City Youth Goat Farm and the Phyongphungdok Goat Farm in Hamju County secured more than 2,000 kids and directed efforts to the nutritional management of them.

Pukchong County created a good pasture and built a milk powder producing base with good hygienic safety and set the Ryongjon Fruit Farm distinguishing itself in the milk supply as a model unit before organizing the campaign in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences with them.

Such progress has been made by other counties and units, too.
