Officials, technicians and shock brigade members of the waterway construction division have invented and introduced more than 50 efficient building methods and technical innovations to improve the quality and speed of the waterway construction.

The division has found the best way for hastening the construction in the technical innovation and the improvement of the scientific and technological capabilities and directed primary efforts to the work with scientists and technicians, while arousing the creative enthusiasm of the masses.

It has pushed ahead with the construction of waterway tunnels and structures and pipe-burying project by applying innovative construction methods in cooperation with scientific research institutes.

The work to introduce and generalize the successes made by exemplary units in the technical innovation is progressing apace and a brisk campaign in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences with them is going on to expand successes in the construction.

Brigades of Pyongyang Municipality, South Phyongan Province, South Hwanghae Province, Jagang Province and other units have pushed ahead with the construction by introducing advanced working methods and overcoming unfavorable geological conditions.
