Many Trees Planted in DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- True to the resolutions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, trees were planted on more than 100,000 hectares of land throughout the DPRK during the spring tree-planting campaign. Officials and working people in North Hamgyong Province planted trees of various species with high economic value in over 20,000 hectares of land. Those in Jagang Province planted tens of millions of trees in tens of thousands of hectares of land. Similar successes were also reported in Pyongyang and Nampho municipalities and South Hwanghae Province. |
